My work in education has focused on supporting teachers, leaders, and students to ensure that children see math as meaningful, joyful, and relevant to their world. I am committed to providing math educators with the tools, strategies, and pedagogy that will guarantee all students are successful in the study of mathematics. In turn, this will enable students to use these skills to solve problems and to think and reason mathematically. For my entire career, I have worked in urban schools to assure that all students receive a high-quality education. I have had the opportunity to teach for over 20 years in various elementary schools, as well as coaching math to K-5 teachers. In addition to my time in the classroom, I have worked nationally for a math teacher development group, strengthening the math content knowledge of classroom teachers in order to accelerate the learning of students.

After all of my years with 2Partner, I am most proud of the relationships I have been able to build with countless educators and administrators. When establishing these connections with different staffs, I am able to create safe, supportive, and risk-free environments that allow teachers to try on new learning. Watching their confidence grow as teachers is incredibly rewarding.
