I spent the first five years of my career teaching first grade in an urban charter school in the greater Boston area. I then moved to Colorado and began working for Aurora Public Schools. I taught first grade for three years before transitioning into a teacher leader position, which included both teaching second grade and coaching my colleagues on their mathematics instruction. After this, I moved into the teacher coach position for APS which I continued until the spring of 2022.

I have worked with 2Partner for two years, specializing in elementary mathematics curriculum and instruction. I have been a part of the professional development teams in both Adams 14 and Pueblo District 60. My major focus is on working with the second grade teachers, but I also work with the math lead teachers in Pueblo District 60. I love my work in Pueblo District 60 because the teachers are so eager to learn, care so deeply about their students, and are amazing educators.
