As a 2Partner Consultant, I work to empower principals, teachers, and students to love math and learning while increasing student achievement. With 24 years of experience in education, I started my career as a teacher in an urban district in Colorado. In addition to being a teacher, I have served as a math demonstration classroom, math teacher leader, math district coach, assistant principal, principal of a preschool through 5th grade, and was selected as the principal to lead the opening of a preschool through 8th grade school. My work has focused on strategic planning, instructional leadership, school culture and equity leadership, human resource leadership, and external development leadership. As a leader, I embody a growth mindset that establishes high expectations for all stakeholders to ensure coherence, consistency, and accountability at all levels.

While working for 2Partner, I have supported schools to create rich math environments for students and teachers. One thing I am excited about is the opportunity to work with schools multiple years in a row to create the most engaging and student centered math block in all classrooms. It is amazing to see the on-going, high-level growth of the principal, the teachers, and the students in the schools I support!
