My greatest passion is supporting teachers and students in their quest to make sense of and find the joy in mathematics. I began my career in Connecticut as a special education teacher and then as a general education teacher at the elementary level. Before joining 2Partner in 2018, I spent time as an instructional math coach, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) coordinator, and assistant principal in large urban districts in Colorado.
As a 2Partner Consultant, I have been so fortunate to work with districts and schools to improve math outcomes through creating and delivering professional development, strategic planning with building leaders, on-site coaching of instructional coaches and teachers, and writing and managing the team development of small group lessons aimed at providing a conceptual understanding of major mathematical concepts. I take great pride in forming trusting, lasting relationships with our partners as we work together to achieve our shared goals. Seeing our schools in Pueblo D60 achieve the results they have worked so hard for has been one of the most rewarding parts of this work so far. I am excited to see what comes next!
