After over 35 years in the field of education, I retired from teaching but never stopped working to better the lives of students through developing the pedagogy of their teachers. I taught students in grades K-8, was a math and gifted instructional coach, and helped create math pacing guides for the gifted magnet school. Upon retirement, I worked for the Colorado Department of Education’s Twice Exceptional Cadre, where I developed and facilitated online classes and in-person 2e training for districts and BOCES throughout Colorado. After years of volunteering and working for the Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented (CAGT), I have spent the past six years as the executive director.

I have been with 2Partner for four years, supporting schools and teachers, working with math leads, and facilitating district professional development. I am most proud of my ability to connect with educators and develop relationships built on trust and my belief in their success. My passion and experience in assisting educators hone their classroom practices not only improves their instruction and that of their colleagues but also supports their students’ quest to succeed in their educational endeavors
